May Wu

Ms. May Wu is the chief strategy officer of Home Inns & Hotels Management Inc., an economy hotel chain based in China and listed on the NASDAQ Global Market, and has serve in her current capacity since April 2010. She was the chief financial officer of Home Inns from July 2006 to April 2010. Ms. Wu was a first vice president at Schroder Investment Management North America Inc. from 2005 to 2006 and a vice president from 2003 to 2004, responsible for investment research for the consumer and services sectors and management of various funds. From 1998 to 2002, Ms. Wu was an equity research analyst at JP Morgan Asset Management, where she also served as a vice president from 2000 to 2002.

Ms. Wu is an independent director, chairwoman of the Audit Committee and a member of the Compensation Committee and the Corporate Governance and Nomination Committee of Noah Holdings (NYSE: NOAH), a distributor of wealth management products to high net worth individuals and corporations in China. Ms. Wu is also an independent director and a member of the Audit Committee of Country Style Cooking Restaurant (NYSE: CCSC), a Chinese quick service restaurant chain. She was an independent director and chairwoman of the audit committee of E-House (China) Holdings Limited (NYSE: EJ), a leading real estate service company in China from April 2010 to April 2012.

Ms. Wu holds a bachelor’s degree from Fudan University in China, a master’s degree from Brooklyn College at the City University of New York and an MBA degree from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
